GRECO-ROMAN WRESTLING

Greco-Roman wrestling:


Greco-Roman wrestling is a style of wrestling that is practiced worldwide.The objective is put the soldiers of the enemy on the mat or by getting points with some techniques.
In this type of wrestling is not allowed the use of legs in the attack and attack the enemy's leg. But things like arm drags, bear hugs or headlocks (these are on freestyle wrestling too) are allowed, and have even greater prominence  in Greco-Roman.


Each combat have 3 periods of 2 minutes, with a rest of 30 seconds. There are two ways for win a combat:
-By touched: If you have the two shoulders of your enemy on the mat the enough time for the referee finds it good.
-By win two of the three periods: if you win the first two periods you don't have to do a third period.


The actions taken by the fighters can be scored with 1, 2, 3 or 5 points, depends of the type of technique performed. If you have three banns you lose the combat.
The Greco-Roman wrestling is an olympic sport.
